I had the opportunity to craft animated marketing assets for The Athletic and The New York Times, helping bring our paid media campaigns to life across major platforms. My role focused on producing animated assets for Paid Display and Paid Social campaigns—reaching audiences on Meta (Facebook + Instagram), Reddit, Snapchat, and YouTube in a wide range of formats and sizes.

With design direction led by Kris Sheasby and Luke Leissring, I developed animation concepts, handled motion execution, and built out the full suite of campaign deliverables. Using Jitter as the core animation tool, I crafted movement, pacing, and visual transitions that aligned with The Athletic’s brand standards while adding clarity and energy to key story points.

As sports media continues to evolve and attention becomes harder to earn, motion plays a crucial role in how fans discover, engage with, and trust a brand. These campaign assets helped The Athletic show up with more polish, consistency, and impact across crowded digital spaces.
